Strixhaven House names confirmed UPDATE!

Well sometimes when you swing big you hit a homerun and sometimes you strike out. In an article a few days ago we speculated that the name of the 5 colleges were named after the 5 mono colored familiars from the commander legends set. While we were sharing that post around a redditor name Kittank sent us some info that got us looking into a Danish website called Spilforsyningen (ya that’s a mouth full) that had their commander decks up for preorder already with this to say

So there you have it. Not only do we now know the name of the 5 colleges but we also learned that they will be 5 color pairs of mana bases. Seems interesting to me seeing that the 2 leading theories were either mono colored or shards. I guess we were all wrong and we will be going back to the some of the guild colors for this school.
